Marshall K. Harris (Alumni 2010), a Fort Worth-based artist, won the 2013 Hunting Art Prize for his life-size graphite drawing titled “Round Up” B.F. Smith & Son Saddlery Circa 1940-1942.

The Hunting Art Prize, which is sponsored by the international oil services company Hunting PLC, is a prestigious annual competition open to Texas artists who are 18 years of age or older. Its $50,000 award is historically the most generous annual award in North America for painting and drawing, and has helped to build the reputations, raise the profiles, and support the careers of distinguished artists.
