BFA, Tyler School of Art
William DiBello was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976. He graduated with an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2002. He currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island, working on his painting as well as teaching at RISD.

DiBello’s paintings explore the beauty of iconographic images in consumerism and corporate America, while maintaining an interrogative posture toward the disposability and superficiality of a media-constructed reality. DiBello has participated in numerous group shows throughout New England as well as Austin, Texas. His paintings were also recently featured in the art publication New American Paintings (Issue No. 56).
